Colin Beard�is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a National Teaching Fellow at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. He is also a learning and development consultant, working internationally with many clients in corporate organizations, higher and further education and adult education.

Highly valuable material

if you are new to the concept of Experiential Learning then this is a fantastic book. Even if you are familiar with it and just want to know more, it is incredibly useful. Some people, like a former manager of mine, think that EL is just limited to everything being an activity. It is far more than that and this book helps you understand the formula for creating effective EL training. I would say it is a great book for both instructors and instructional designers alike. Forget reading the rest of the reviews. Get this book. It is absolutely worth it and chock full of value for any level of EL practitioner.
