Hoshin Kanri, the big picture

Those who will find value in this book are those who are looking for change. That change must start from the top, and what better book to help initiate the movement. This book is a great book to start with for anybody interested in Hoshin Kanri. I recommend starting with this book to survey the big picture and then dive deeper into some of the tools if necessary. Cudney does a great job with just enough words and details to communicate the theme without dragging the reader into too many details. The CD with the included templates is a nice bonus, too. In the future I plan to use this book as a training tool and quick reference guide. I believe its best use is as a primer for upper management, since the material flows quickly and the case study presents a sample of application.

This is an amazing book that shows you the true meaning of Hoshin Planning while also providing tools and templates that you can use. Dr. Cudney writes in a very clear and concise manner making this philosophy very approachable and easy to understand.
